The Florio fragrance takes homage from the wild flowers that bloom across the Sicilian island during spring time. A soft and delicate scent featuring notes of narcissus, passiflora (passionflower), and wild iris.
Ortigia Sicilia perfumes are the creation of one of the most famous Italian perfumers in the world and are distilled directly from the Sicilian flora. All Ortigia Sicilia fragrances are unisex and is part of the luxurious collection formulated with natural ingredients indigenous to Sicily, inspired by the beauties, colours and scents of the most tropical and ancient region of Italy. The difference between eau de toilette and eau de parfum is the percentage of essential oils (also called aromatic compounds) contained. Eau de Toilette contains 5-15% while Eau de Parfum usually contains more: 10-20%. For this reason, the Eau de Parfum lasts longer and releases a more intense scent.

Packaging: The packages are designed by Sue Townsend, founder of Ortigia Sicily. In fact, the exotic images and unique colours are all Sicilian. The boxes are handmade using silver foil and embossed lettering. The glass jars and bottles are decorated with evocative prints of leopards and palm trees.
